Parent Involvement

 

The Apple Creek PTO welcomes and encourages all families to get involved in PTO meetings and functions, family events and school activities throughout the year!

The Apple Creek PTO’s goal is to further the education of our children; support our teachers and our school board through enrichment and community.

A sampling of PTO sponsored events to watch for:

  • Fall Apple Festival and Annual Auction Fundraiser - To celebrate the "apple" in Apple Creek School, we include an apple them in the festival food, activities and games for this fun, family and community event. In concert with our Apple Festival, we have our primary PTO fundraiser. While the kids are enjoying the fun and games, parents and community members participate in the exciting and action-packed auction. We ask families to donate to classroom gift baskets and provide a baked item to be auctioned. We also auction donations solicited from local businesses. This event promises to be just one of the PTO sponsored highlights for the school year.
  • Themed holiday parties are always exciting PTO sponsored events. Each year the PTO hosts either a Halloween, Valentine’s Day or even St. Patrick’s Day party for families to gather together and share food, music and even dancing. This event celebrates the kid in all of us!
  • End of the School Year Picnic – On the last day of each school year the PTO supports a special family picnic at Sertoma Park to celebrate the end of another successful year and the beginning of another beautiful North Dakota summer. 

 

PTO Officers: Elections of officers are held in the beginning of each school year. All are welcome and encouraged to volunteer. The commitment is reasonable and the work is extremely rewarding! Feel free to contact any of this year’s officers with questions:
